Saving the Focus Window for a Difficult Workshop Shot

By Bottle Shooting3 min read

Focus gives you a brief motion advantage. Prepare the route before spending the full meter, then watch which parts of the workshop keep their normal pace.

A three-second Focus window beside an energy meter refilling in 18-point steps.

The meter starts full in each stage. In Bottle Shoot 2, activating Focus spends that energy and gives three seconds of slower bottle motion, which can help you time a difficult moving destination.

Focus slows the bottles' movement clock

The shot keeps its normal travel speed. During Focus, bottle motion uses 28 percent of the ordinary clock rate, while the stage timer continues counting down and fired shots still travel through the workshop at the usual pace.

That distinction matters for a mirror attempt. The target moves less during your shot's flight, but you still need a valid reflected route that clears the barrier rather than expecting the ability to bend or slow ammunition.

Choose the contact point before activating the meter. Spending the opening part of that short window deciding which mirror to use leaves less slowed-motion time for aiming and the eventual shot to reach its destination.

Six ordinary shatters refill an empty meter

Each shattered bottle returns eighteen energy. Five shatters after spending a full meter add 90, so Focus remains unavailable until another break brings the total to the 100-point cap.

Cracking reinforced glass does not add that energy. The game returns it when the bottle shatters, making a surviving blue target different from an ordinary bottle that disappears after the same single contact.

A burst can change the refill pace. If violet glass breaks several nearby bottles, each shatter contributes energy, although reaching the cap does not store a second full meter for a later activation.

Refill and active time are separate conditions

The button needs both conditions to be ready. Even if a chain fills the meter while Focus still runs, the game waits for the current three-second effect to end before allowing another activation.

Look at the display before pressing again. During the effect it shows remaining seconds, and afterward it shows the energy percentage, so a filled-looking bar alone should not be your only cue for another use.

Use the first attempt to identify the hard part

A stationary bottle behind a barrier needs geometry. Focus does not remove the barrier, so solving the reflected lane first is more useful than spending the ability on a shot whose route never reaches glass.

A drifting endpoint asks for timing as well. Once you have a clear lane, the slower movement can make it easier to send the shot while the bottle crosses the reachable segment of that reflected path.

Build that route with the mirror bank-shot guide, then compare ammunition choices near the finish before using your last shot.
