Which Bottle Flip Landings Score More Than Once?

By Bottle Shooting3 min read

A shelf can remain useful after its landing reward is spent. Know which points repeat before turning a checkpoint into a score-farming plan.

A first landing awarding 120 points beside a repeat visit with no second landing reward.

The first visit marks the platform

A new platform can award landing points. In Bottle Flip, the game tracks which furniture surfaces you have landed on during the room, so another visit does not repeat that first-landing award.

Center placement changes the initial value. Landing within 18 internal units of the platform center gives 120 points, while another valid first landing gives 40, and the platform then enters the visited set.

A later perfect approach does not replace it. If you first land off-center and return to the same cabinet near its middle, the game does not add a fresh 120-point award for that second arrival.

A checkpoint saves position rather than resetting rewards

Can the checkpoint pay you again? The game keeps the room's visited-platform set during your remaining lives, so returning to furniture you already scored does not rebuild those landing points from the beginning.

Collected moon tokens also stay collected. You can focus on reaching the next platform after a fall rather than trying to recover a token that the game has already counted earlier in the same room.

The fall still has a cost. It removes one life and deducts 75 points without taking the score below the saved total from completed rooms, making repeated checkpoint returns a poor route to extra score.

New furniture and uncollected tokens still matter

Move your scoring attention farther along the room. A platform you have not landed on yet remains eligible for its first-landing award, and an uncollected moon can still add its own 80 points.

Do not trade away the landing to chase it. Passing close enough to a moon can collect the token, but the token does not cancel a fall when the bottle misses the surface on the descent afterward.

Try one crossing as a survival attempt first. Once you can reach the new furniture, adjust the next practice run for a centered landing or a token without assuming a repeat visit will award the landing again.

A room retry starts another attempt

Losing all lives brings a room retry. That starts the room layout again and restores the score and moon totals carried from completed rooms, rather than keeping an unfinished room's gains across an unlimited sequence of failed retries.

Completion adds another reason to protect lives. The room award includes 100 points per life left and 30 per perfect landing, so avoiding a fall can matter beyond the immediate deduction shown during play.
