Bottle Flip: Moonlit Loft
Bottle Flip: Moonlit Loft is a free online platform game where a small glass bottle hops across the furniture of an after-hours studio. Tap to flip, use a second jump to cross a wider gap and land on the next surface. Clear eight rooms, collect moon tokens and reach each glowing exit without falling to the floor. The camera follows your bottle as the route continues beyond the screen.
How to play Bottle Flip
Click or tap the arena to launch a flip. The bottle moves forward while it is airborne and stops when it lands, giving you a moment to plan the next jump. Tap again before landing to use your double jump. Its timing changes how far you travel: an early second jump helps you gain height, while a later one extends your flight over a gap.
Use the Flip button below the arena if you prefer a larger touch control. On a keyboard, Space or Up triggers a jump. Holding the key does not repeat jumps; release it and press again for the second flip. Press P or the Pause button to stop the room. Leaving the browser tab also pauses the game.
A little air brake makes a big difference
Press E or tap Air brake once during a flight to reduce your horizontal speed. It gives you a way to shorten a long leap and settle onto a narrow piece of furniture. The brake becomes available again after landing. A second jump restores forward speed, so using the brake after the second flip gives you the most control over the final approach.
Look at the height and width of the next surface before jumping. A higher shelf usually needs an earlier second flip, while a wider gap calls for more forward travel. Watch the descending part of the arc: the bottle lands only when its base fits on the top of a surface. Its rotation resets on landing, so the challenge is reaching the right place at the right moment.
Eight rooms, moving furniture and checkpoints
The journey starts at a quiet reading corner and continues through a music room, window gallery, hanging garden, workshop, library and observatory. Later rooms introduce furniture that drifts from side to side and narrower landing spaces. A bottle standing on a moving surface travels with it, so wait for a useful position before making your next flip.
Glowing rings mark checkpoints. Land on one to save your position in the current room. You have three lives per room; a missed landing returns you to the latest checkpoint and costs up to 75 points from that room. If all three lives are lost, retry the room while keeping the score and moon tokens earned in completed rooms. Checkpoints restart with a room retry.
Moon tokens and perfect landings
Small crescent tokens hover above the furniture. Collecting one adds 80 points. They are optional: you can reach an exit without collecting every moon, then return for a more complete run. A collected token stays collected after a checkpoint respawn, preventing repeated points from the same pickup.
Your first landing on a surface scores 40 points, or 120 points when the bottle lands close to its center. Perfect landings and lives remaining also add a room completion bonus. Try combining a second flip with a late air brake to approach the center of a narrow cabinet. Your personal best is saved in the browser you use, and sound can be switched on or off.
More bottle games to try
If you enjoy planning curved paths, play Bottle Smash and throw stones or bricks at glass bottles. For moving bottles, reflected shots and chain reactions, try Bottle Shoot 2. You can also practice direct aiming in the original Bottle Shooting, or switch to a rooftop battle with double jumps and knockback in Gun Mayhem.
Practical game guides
More game guides →- Timing the Second Jump in Bottle Flip
The second tap changes the flight you already started. Save it until you can see whether the bottle needs more height or a longer crossing.
- Landing on Moving Furniture in Bottle Flip
A moving cabinet can shift under your descent. Watch its travel, choose a wider landing window and treat the moon token as a separate decision.
- Air Brake Before or After the Second Flip?
Using both controls can give two different flights. The second flip resets horizontal speed, so the order matters when you want a shorter landing.
- Which Bottle Flip Landings Score More Than Once?
A shelf can remain useful after its landing reward is spent. Know which points repeat before turning a checkpoint into a score-farming plan.
