Bottle Glide: a sliding puzzle in the Frosted Atelier
Guide lettered glass bottles across an ice-covered workbench and settle each one on its matching stand. Bottle Glide has twelve puzzle rooms on a six-by-six board. A bottle keeps moving until a wall, the board edge or another bottle stops it. Stands do not act as brakes, so passing over the right letter is different from ending a slide on it.
Select a bottle, then choose a direction
Tap a bottle on the board or use the larger Bottle A, B and C buttons below it. Press a directional arrow to slide the selected piece. On a keyboard, 1, 2 and 3 select bottles; the arrow keys move the selected bottle. Enter and Space activate focused buttons. A blocked direction does not consume a move.
Each valid slide counts once, regardless of how many cells the bottle crosses. Match all lettered stands at the same time to clear the room. Bottles keep their identities, so A belongs on A even if another piece can reach that cell first. A bottle already on its matching stand can move again when the rest of your plan needs it as a temporary brake.
Borrow a brake from the other bottle
A stand in the middle of an open row needs a stopping point beyond it. Move another bottle into the lane and use it to halt the selected bottle on the correct cell. That helper may need to leave afterward so it can reach its own stand. The first four rooms use two bottles; later rooms add a third piece and more wall arrangements.
Plan the last stopping point before the first slide. A route that reaches the right row but has no obstacle in the required place will slide past the stand. Some arrangements can leave no route to a complete solution, so Undo and Reset remain available when an experiment blocks the next step.
Hints, Undo and an untimed board
The game has no timer and no limited move supply. Undo reverses the last valid slide and restores its move count. Reset restores the room's starting arrangement and clears recorded hints. Show next slide searches from the current arrangement and performs the first move of a shortest route if one exists. The search runs in batches so Reset can cancel it. If no route exists, the game asks you to undo an earlier slide or restart the room.
A successful hint counts as one slide and adds one hint. Undo does not erase that hint tally. The MIN display is the shortest solution length from the original opening arrangement, computed for the supplied boards; it does not update to describe a position you create midway through the room.
Twelve rooms and thirty-six stars
Finish without hints in MIN plus two slides or fewer for three stars. Two stars allow up to two hints and MIN plus eight slides; another completed room earns one star. The opening solutions range from four to fifteen slides. Clearing a room unlocks the next, and the selector lets you revisit unlocked rooms.
When browser storage is available, the game saves unlocked rooms, the highest star award for each and its smallest completed slide count. It restarts unfinished boards from their opening positions when you return. Read what a saved score does and does not preserve if the board restarts while your completed-room record remains.

A best score can survive a reload while the current room restarts. Read the game's saved fields before expecting a return to the exact unfinished move.
