Bottle Ball: turn the night court into a glass-breaking challenge

Bottle Ball: Stadium Smash brings three familiar sports balls to an unfamiliar competition. Your targets are glass bottles balanced on platforms inside a floodlit arena. Choose a football, volleyball or basketball, set a curved flight path and clear the court before your ball rack runs empty. Eight arenas introduce new heights, moving bottles, protective bands, foam barriers and sideways wind. Play directly in your browser on a computer, phone or tablet.

Choose the ball that fits the shot

The football is the all-round opener. It launches quickly, breaks ordinary glass on contact and rebounds once from the court floor. The volleyball has a wider shape and lower gravity, giving it a gentler, floating arc. It can rebound twice, which helps when you want to approach a low platform from below. Both balls stop when they hit a bottle, including a bottle that survives the impact.

The basketball falls more sharply but delivers two points of damage. That is enough to break a reinforced blue bottle immediately. It can also continue through a sequence of three bottle or destroyed barrier contacts. Its two possible floor rebounds make it useful for finding a route beneath an awkward cluster. Changing balls changes the trajectory preview: recheck the dotted path before launching your next shot.

How to aim and launch

Move the pointer over the court to choose your launch angle. Hold the mouse button to charge power, then release. On a touchscreen, touch, hold and lift your finger. The angle and power sliders provide another way to prepare a shot: set both values and press Throw. Only one ball can fly at a time.

Keyboard players can use Left and Right to adjust the angle, Up and Down to change power, and hold then release Space to launch. Press 1 for football, 2 for volleyball or 3 for basketball. P pauses the match, including an airborne ball. Sound is optional, and the Restart button begins a new campaign. Leaving the tab pauses play automatically.

Read the bottles, barriers and breeze

Mint bottles take one hit. Reinforced blue bottles take two football or volleyball hits, or one basketball hit. Break a gold bottle to add a football to your rack. Foam barriers take two lighter-ball hits or one basketball hit; a cleared barrier opens a lower throwing lane. A high arc can avoid spending a ball on the defense entirely.

The first two courts have stationary targets and calm air. Moving bottles arrive in arena three, barriers in arena four and crosswinds in arena five. The wind display tells you its direction and strength. A rightward breeze adds horizontal speed while the ball travels; it does not move the starting point or change the bottle layout. Watch the preview and adjust your angle or charge to compensate.

Rebounds, combinations and the 24-star league

A shattered ordinary bottle earns 100 points, while gold earns 180. Break glass after a floor rebound for another 75 points. Basketball contacts after its first bottle add a 60-point combination bonus when they shatter glass. A rebound only counts toward the bounce-hit tally when a bottle actually breaks.

Clear every bottle to finish an arena. Three stars require using no more than 55 percent of the bottle count, rounded up; two stars require no more throws than bottles. Otherwise, clearing the stage awards one star. Unused balls add 40 points each, and each earned star adds 100. Across eight courts you can collect 24 stars. If you run out of balls, retry the current arena while retaining completed-stage scores and stars. Your highest score stays in this browser when local storage is available.

A practical opening strategy

Use an ordinary bottle to learn where the current ball lands. Save basketballs for reinforced glass or a path through several targets. Try the volleyball when a high shelf sits beyond a low obstacle; its floating arc often offers a route that a heavier ball misses. Gold bottles replenish footballs, so consider reaching one before your rack becomes sparse. A moving target can leave a gap in the preview and return during the throw, so timing matters as well as angle.
